I encouraged readers to research scientific topics and principles for themselves. There are plenty of books on most areas of science aimed at novices that will provide you with a good foundation in the topic. You can then go on to build on that knowledge if your interest is piqued. I will endeavor to mention any books or web references that I am aware of when I discuss a science topic, however I can obviously never be comprehensive.
